22556VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace, is a Nationally Recognised (AQF) First Aid course for both the general public and workplaces that require first aid trained staff.

This course is specifically designed to satisfy the first aid requirements for Schools and Registered Children's Services. 

 

Course Details

  • The symptoms and triggers of an Asthma Attack

  • The different classes of Asthma Medication

  • The devices used to administer Asthma Medication

  • How to deliver First Aid Asthma

 

Assessment

This assessment includes both a theoretical and practical component. This assessment includes the completion of a multiple choice theory papers and practical assessment tasks.

 

Outcomes

On successful completion of this First Aid course, participants will be awarded the nationally accredited statement of attainment – 22556VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace

In order to perform this course you will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

It is a requirement from the Australian Government Department of Industry that all students must have a USI before completing this course.
